Culture Night!

Ah, it’s that time of year again.

Culture Night is a great Dublin institution, and I’m delighted to announce that my piece for the Dublin Laptop Orchestra – ‘Sundown’, will be played at the Oonagh Young Gallery.
It’s massively influenced by noise rock, Tim Hecker, Christian Fennesz and others, so it’s going to be loud. Or that is what my instructions say, I’m in London at the minute. But it should be very loud. So come along if you want to hear this insane music in an art gallery at ear-splitting volume. It starts at 6pm.

Nine is now live!

Hey everyone,

I have just finished my record for guitar orchestra (8 classical guitars and one electric bass, hence the title: ‘Nine’).

It’s available via Bandcamp – it costs six euro because it is halfway between an EP and an album’s length.

It’s a classical composition, but it has a significant jazz influence, and there is more than a bit of rock music in it too.

I hope you enjoy it,

Chris
